Firefox 89 새 UI인 Proton 비활성화

파이어폭스 89에서 새 UI인 Proton이 적용되었다.
PC 사용자에겐 너무 넓은 여백들.

기존 UI로 바꿀 수 있는 설정을 제공하고 있다. 이는 91버전에서 삭제될 예정.

※ Firefox 91에서 설정이 삭제되었습니다. 아래의 설정은 파이어폭스 91 이후 버전에선 적용되지 않습니다.


방법
주소창 about:config → 위험을 감수하고 계속 진행

◆ Proton 검색. 해당 항목 false

browser.proton.enabled > false
툴바, 탭, 앱 메뉴의 Proton UI 비활성화(disables Proton UI of toolbars, tabs, application menu)

browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled > false
바로가기 메뉴의 Proton UI 비활성화(disables Proton UI of context menus)

browser.proton.doorhangers.enabled > false
doorhangers의 Proton UI 비활성화(disables Proton UI of doorhangers): 사용자와 상호 작용하는 대화상자. 추가 기능 설치/위치 승인/마이크 및 웹캡 승인/탭 닫기 팝업 등.

browser.proton.toolbar.version > 0-3
아무 효과 없음(no effect atm)




◆ 아래는 Proton UI가 활성화되었을 때 나오는 추가 설정

browser.proton.infobars.enabled
새롭게 디자인된 정보표시줄(Newly designed information bar enabled by this switch.)

browser.proton.modals.enabled
모달 대화상자(파일 열기/저장 등) 디자인 변경(Design changes to the modal dialogs are implemented behind this switch.)

browser.proton.places-tooltip.enabled
북마크, 탭의 새 도구 설명(The new tooltips for tabs and bookmarks are implemented behind this switch.)

browser.proton.urlbar.enabled
주소창의 새 디자인(Changes to the address bar are implemented behind this switch.)
